Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Snakeroo, the snake puzzle game for iPhone and iPad (“the game”, “we”), handles information. In short: the game works without an account, keeps your progress on your device, and only shares data with Google for ads, as described below.

Information we do not collect

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or any other personal information, and you do not need an account to play.

Data stored on your device

Your progress (levels, stars, coins, boosters, snake skins, island decorations and settings) is saved only on your device. It is not sent to us. If you delete the game, this data is deleted too.

Purchases

In-app purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. The game only receives a confirmation of what was bought so it can unlock it on your device.

Advertising

The game shows a small banner ad at the bottom of the level screen, a full-screen ad after a lost Super Hard or Boss level, and optional reward videos (for example for a free heart, a booster or more time). These ads are provided by Google AdMob.

To show ads and measure them, Google may collect information from your device, such as an advertising identifier, your IP address and approximate location, and how you interact with the ads. We only ask for non-personalised ads, so ads are not chosen based on your interests, and the game does not track you across other apps or websites. Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), ads are shown only after you make your choice in Google’s consent message.

Google’s use of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy and on How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Buying “Remove Ads” removes the banner and the full-screen ads. Reward videos stay optional and only play when you choose to watch one.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the game sets reminders on your device, for example when you have not played for a day. They are created on your device and nothing is sent to us. You can turn them off in the game settings (Reminders) or in your device settings.

Analytics

We do not use analytics or tracking tools in the game.

Children

Snakeroo is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads in the game are non-personalised.

Your choices and rights

Because we do not keep personal information about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on our side. You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings, and remove all game data by deleting the game. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
